Who was it who said; “I love deadlines, I love the whooshing sound they make as they rush by.”
I thought I’d pop by and explain why I’ve been away from the blog for a bit.
First reason is that I have finished the kids rooms! *fanfare* The kids are pleased and so am I. Just a few final touches and they will be ready for the big reveal.
Also I’m working on finishing up the cookbook. I’m working on the all important index right now. It’s a pain. I’d much rather be taking photos of food, and then eating the food. Then there is the proofing and submitting and…and…and…
So my goal of the book being available by August may or may not come about.
My husband jokingly asked me, “What are you going to do with your self when you finish all these giant projects?”
Oh hell, I don’t know actually!
