Can someone please tell me how to pronounce tzatziki? Is it Tah-zee-key like in America; or is the T silent, Zat-zee-key, like they say it in the UK?  I’m inclined to go with the UK version because it just sounds cooler. 😏

Here’s my version of the recipe.

Tzatziki

1 10-12 inch English Cucumber
1 teaspoon Lemon Zest
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
2 tablespoons Fresh Dill
2 Green Onions
3/4 cup Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup Crumbled Feta Cheese
Salt & Pepper

Grate the cucumber then squeeze the water out using a clean tea towel or your hands and place in a medium sized bowl.
Zest then juice the Lemon. Finely chop the dill and onions and add to the bowl.
Spoon in the yogurt, feta cheese and salt and pepper.
Mix well to combine. Taste for seasoning.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Serve with pita bread or chips or along side grilled lamb.
