Hello all!
Welcome to summer! I hope your Friday is excellent!
So, now that THE DARK STAR is out I can relax and enjoy work on the third in the series. I have four whole months of non promotion space here on the blog, so I thought why not get back to some posts Wishing For Horses style?
How about some recipes, book reviews, travel/packing, and craft projects? I could also dust off and post more of the Meet a Blogger series? Yeah?
To start let me share a very special summer time recipe! This comes from my husband, it’s our favorite cocktail.
JEFREY’S MINT GIMLET
Ingredients:
2oz. Gin (we like Tanqueray Ten)
1.5oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1oz. Simple Syrup (more or less to taste)
3-4 leaves of Fresh Mint
Ice
Instructions:
Fill a cocktail shaker 2/3 full with ice and add measured ingredients.
Shake until very cold about 30-45 seconds.
Pour into martini glasses through a small strainer
Garnish with a single mint leaf.
Enjoy on the porch during a warm summer evening!
Cheers!

Looks inviting!
